(WEEK 11) Analysis of Project

Based on this project, when the Stretch Sensor increased expansion, the resistance of Stretch Sensor will increased while the voltage will decreased. But when no expansion occur the resistance of Stretch Sensor will decreased and while the voltage will increased to 5V, and will send the signal to PIC microcontroller.

The table below shows the result measuring resistance and voltage during the expansion of Stretch Sensor to approve the result.

If stretch sensor has increase expansion, voltage output at Pin A1 will be decreased.

This figure show the voltage of stretch sensor  is 5V when no expansion and contraction occur.

The figure below show the value of resistance and output voltage when sensor increases the expansion. It can conclude that, when resistance increase, the voltage will decrease.

Resistance = 0.9kΩ   voltage = 4V

Resistance = 1.3kΩ   voltage = 3V

From the measurement tested, the voltage are measured at stretch sensor while detect the contraction movement   from 4.5V dc to 1V when the expansion sensor occur.
